GameMaker Studio 2 version 2.3.0 is now open to everyone!!
Just head over to your downloads page to get access to the 2.3 installers. It comes as a separate install to the stable version of GameMaker Studio 2 so no need to worry about removing your current version.
This major update introduces a huge number of improvements to the software, including: the new Sequences and Animation Curve asset types; a new, streamlined project format; the resource tree is now the Asset Browser and allows new ways of creating, managing, tagging, and filtering your assets; and all the many GML changes.
NOTE: Your projects will also be converted the first time you open them in 2.3.0, so you can also play with your projects safe in the knowledge you have a backup which still works in 2.2.5.
Reporting issues and feedback with version 2.3.0 should be done via our Help Community Forums.

Using Sequences to place a bag behind the player, and Animation Curves for a "bobbing" animation for the bag.#GameMakerStudio2 #gamemaker #gamedev pic.twitter.com/UHohhOnCor
Finally got my hands on Gamemaker v2.3. Very exciting as there are so many new toys to play with. Top work by @YoYoGames implementing some cool new features. Been playing with Sequences, and a short time later we end up with this. Should I be worried#gamemaker #gamedev #gms2 pic.twitter.com/V6NXcBSwrn
