tbrew, you could try using 7zip or WinRAR, if Winzip won't extract it. Also, made a small update to SA. All I did was remove the SEGA logo from the intro screen, correct some errors in the Readme, and fix an audio-related issue in the first boss. The Boss-Pinch theme no longer continues playing after you die.

Are you getting any error messages? What Operating system do you use? Do you have the latest version of DirectX (9.0c, or 10) installed?

The first boss isn't too hard, but it could have used an increase in the distribution of rings. As for the music, which playback mode? OGG, or MIDI? I'll boot into Windows later and see for myself. I don't recall OGG playback screwing up like that on the first boss.

This isn't the place to ask for it, (I only accept requests by Email, or a PM.) and trust me, you wouldn't want this openly available for download anyway. The source file is a near-unintelligible mess, and useful comments are almost nonexistent. This engine may function very similar to a Sonic game in general, but it hardly "feels" even remotely close the Advance titles. I'd advise against using it as-is to create another Advance-style game, at least not without some significant modifications.
