Hero Review

Pros: Fun, challenging
Cons: Literally black and white colors.
A Great One
This game is full of old school fun. I'm talking very old, back to the days of Atari old. The simplistic two-tone color scheme does nothing to distract from the very fun and quite challenging game play.
The graphics, while squarish and modeled to be likened to 4-bit, are still exquisite and still manage to pull out amazing cuts and intro scenes. You can tell what's what clean cut, and with this game, that's all you need to know to get into the heart of things.
The game manages to fit so much into such a little package. The controls are simple, fluid, and fun yet manage to present good challenge.
Not to be all praise of the wonder, variety may be the games short coming. While there is a plethora of foes to face, each great in its own way, there is little in the way of the player to gain as the levels progress outside of a single gun upgrade. Granted, while this adds challenge, it can also be seen as a short coming.
The game is great fun, let me just establish that again. Any fan of classic games would love this. I highly recommend it.
