Bridging the Gap Review

Pros: +Near-flawless physics +BRILLIANT fun +Looks the part
Cons: -Trains move too slowly -Not a game for action-heads
It's free Pontifex! Yay!
If you've ever played Pontifex and enjoyed it you'll feel right at home. Build a bridge so a train can pass a crevasse... with a limited budget and the necessity you make it sufficient to hold the locomotive's weight, and its trailers too if applicable. For actionheads this'll make you fall asleep. For anyone with a logical brain, this is as close to brain tickling as you'll get without removing a part of your skull. A brilliant game that I will certainly enjoy for hours to come.
Only two things prevent this getting 6 stars - the lack of a free build mode (no cash limit, and an editable level), and the inability to slope the main track (making crazy train stunts possible) :P
Great job, Erik! 5 stars
the inability to slope the main track (making crazy train stunts possible) :P
Just wait until level 28 ;)
I'm aware of the lack of a level editor, however a free build mode is not so free as you think, because you would then be limited by your fps instead of by the cash, and I found the fps limit a worse one... Anyhow thanks for the review :)
