3D-Stickball Review

Pros: Nice graphics (though basic 3D shapes), increasing difficulty-level
Cons: Too easy at the beginning, no story, German help-file and menu, little new to the concept
Only a bit more than the original, but nice
The game is a genuine breakout-game. Fire the ball and destroy all bricks by making it bounce through the level. The only difference is that you have a 3D-view.
There's three different views, but the creator didn't make a top-down view, so you always have to look at the "battlefield" in perspective.
The music sounds good and you can choose out of four different themes, to each his own. The bouncing-sounds get a bit boring after a while.
The game is fun, but at the beginning the ball has such a low speed that it get boring, but that's my opinion in most breakout-games, so I guess I just like it to be a bit more difficult. It does get more difficult in further levels. There are special features to be gained in order to make it easier to finish a level, but they give a greater chance of missing the ball, so that's good.
The interface is easy, but your tool (spaceship, whatever it is) bounces off the wall when you hit it. This is original, but it can make you miss the ball if you have to be fast and if the ball gets close to the wall. The buttons are to be found in the help-file, but I hope you all know the German language... :)
