DOOMclone EX Review

Pros: 3D is always a pro, great graphics, gives a creepy feeling.
Cons: Dodgy jumping, MIDI music (doesn't suit the quality), hard to figure out the controls, "want a story? play a different game" not cool.
DOOMclone EX
DOOMclone EX, obviously the title suggests it's a clone of DOOM. Unfortunately we see so much doom clones on yoyogames they lose their novelty, and just about everyone with a 3d game uses DOOM stuff. But DOOM stuff works. I know you've grabbed stuff from DOOM, but they're good. I didn't get very far into the game, but the parts I did gave me a basic idea of what's going on. It was unfortunate how I had to figure out how to attack stuff, and I'm not sure if the shooting the giant ball did anything, because I was shooting that gold thingy in the corridor and it wouldn't die, then I just died, and a quote from Hitler comes up. To be honest, the first enemy coming from behind the door startled me a bit, but, stabby stabby, and when I was nearly dead, the heartbeat sound gave the game the edge it needs, giving us the message "you're going to die". Jumping was like, just, no. Not sure if you even need to jump, but if jumping really is important, it should be improved. "Want a story? This is just a remake of my favourite levels." Yeah, real professional.
4/5 Good job, not bad.

Lol at your insult. I know telling people to play another game for a story isn't professional, nor am I trying to be, it's just a heads up that the actual DOOMclone story exists in the other games. The jumping serves much higher purpose in DOOMclone 3. And what do you mean "stabby stabby?" Don't tell me you never switched to any of the other weapons! Otherwise I agree with most of your review, but I would definitely say that both gameplay and sound are 4s not 2s.
