Daedalus & Son Review

Pros: Very nice, clean graphics, nice ambient music that doesn´t annoy and an intuitive control system...
Cons: Overlapping sfx can sometimes get on your nerves as they are too loud...
Fantastic, original and well done!
Well I stumbled on this by accident and must say that I love it!
The controls are simple and intuitive and in difficult mode the sun cursor plays a much more important part... upping the difficulty nicely without making the game impossible.
The music is perfect for giving a nice ambience (although a few more tracks to add variety wouldn´t have been amiss) and the sound effects do their job, except when two or more sounds overlap and are too loud...
I really liked the graphics too... They are simple, very clean and add the right atmosphere for the game... Very Greek!
As for the story, well, it´s short and to the point and funny too, although not very deep. But then it doesn´t need to be!
The level design is good, with each level presenting just the right amount of challenges and rewards.
All in all, a most rewarding and (more importantly) fun game. I can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone looking for something a tad different...
