Tri Wars The Collection version 1.4 Review

Pros: To be honest, there isn't any.
Cons: Controls
Poor controls lead to a near unplayable game
I wasn't sure what to expect with this game, but this was definitely unexpected that it would be nearly unplayable (for me at least.)
I didn't particularly care for the graphics, they seemed dull and bland while the only good part about them was the boat in the water.
The sound was alright, but also a bit plain. The sound effects were from a resource pack I'm pretty sure. I supposed it doesn't matter where sounds come from though.
The game was TOO difficult. Not necessarily the difficulty the creator intended to put in the game, but the controls. Aiming with the mouse while using the arrow keys was a very poor decision, unless of course you're on a desktop, I however, am on a laptop, and in order to play comfortably I had to use my left hand on the arrows and my right on the touch pad. Not fun, and for this, I have to give this a very low score for gameplay. I'm sorry, I just couldn't have fun with this.
There really wasn't much of a story that I noticed, just the intro to the levels. Perhaps there were more than one level per difficulty, I can't be sure.
And then there's a the interface. The menus were fine, I liked them, but the in game interface where you have to click an on screen object to purchase health and weapons was not impressive. The cursor was hidden under them when I tried to click.
Overall, I'm sure this game would be enjoyable for a small period of time to those who use a desktop or are south-paw, I however, did not enjoy this game at all.

well, play it on a desktop. it really is much better. i never seem to get the hang of laptop pads.
well, its definitly not the best review i've ever gotten. but at least it has good arguments.
