Pros: Fun!, makes you think on your feet, very original(as far as I know)
Cons: Mixed graphics, too slow paced, awful music, difficult to learn at first
Try It!
Welcome to...THE REVIEW HOUSE OF FUN
Graphics-Pretty mixed, some graphics were good while others were terrible and taken from the tutorials. This really makes the game look unprofessional, so I would highly suggest you change them
Sound-Taken from tutorial, and the song sucks anyway.
4/5 Gameplay-Nicely done! I found the challenge of making potions, while still trying to keep ingredients from drying was very cool. It pretty much is what makes this game so addiciting, cause it makes you think on your feet and plan ahead. I also found that there was not many potions though and that getting new ones by leveling up was quite boring and slow paced though.
4/5 Story-Well, its a frekin puzzle game I think the premise of "Tweeb is making potions, don't fail" is good enough.
3/5 Interface-The menu was pretty good. But the way to learn the controls and the general way to play and get combos was awful, you should make the instructions better and include a nice tutorial, it would really help when you first begin to play.
3.5/5Overall-This game has several flaws, but its challenging and addicting gameplay make up for them, this is a great game and I recomend you give it a try, you wont regret it.
Afterthoughs For The Creator-Really good for a first game, it suffers from many of the failing that plague first games(ripped graphics and sounds, ect.) I hope to see a #2 of this, or even a nice update. The game should be set to a more fast pace by alowing you to start with a larger arsenal of potions and making you only have to get 3 sage potions to unlock a new potion. Subsequently more potions should be added. By the way. A two player face off mode would be awesome, as would online high-scores.

Thanks for the review! I hoped the tutorial resources wouldn't be too off-putting but I see how they could appear. At least those are quick fixes, if I just get it together and replace a few sprites and add different music. I definitely need a tutorial too.
I'm taking your suggestions very seriously and may not be able to sleep until I've put some time in those directions. Give me a week and the game should have a new paint job at least!
