The Night Lightning Struck Review
By osl on 31 July 2009

Pros: Fast-Paced Platformer, easy to learn controls, has a decent story, simple but sweet graphics and good sounds.

Cons: Interface text, little bit unoriginal

Lightning Quick

A very nice game by *Legendary* here. Derserving of the feature.
Another boring platformer? So you would think. But the game has a really pacy motive. Dodge spikes, firing elctric currents and jumping everywhere, you really need a skill, courage and the ability to control well.
The controls for the player are easy and very simple. The gameplay itself is also very easy to pick up but in some ways, unoriginal. With the gameplay come simplistic, but very nice graphics. They fit in perfectly with the game itself though it dosen't quite give you the feel of a dungeon. Music is excellent, you can feel your heart racing with it trying to get that key. The story is also clever and very good, you rarely see a good game with a great story theses days.
One thing I would pick it up on though would be the interface text. Hard to read, I stuggled reading it as it came up.

Overall, a great game, well worth a play. 4/5
