Deadly Steps - Years Ago (Demo) Review

Pros: Amazing graphics, good controls, fun Deadly Steps experience.
Cons: Could be some more enemies and explosions. I enjoyed DS 1 and 2 mostly because of the non brainer action. The 3rd was cool to, but not enough wild action.
This is what we've been waiting for for months!
This demo was really good.
Graphics:
Must be your best looking game ever. Every room is so detailed with objects in the background. Pure eyecandy. I like how the head moves with the gun's aim, but could you make a better animation for the reload? It just flips up in the air and then goes down. Come on. This is a Granite Gear game. Couldn't you add an animation so the hand goes on the top of the gun and "jerking it off" a little bit. You know what I mean.
Sound:
Just what to expect from a Deadly Steps game. I have always wondered where your music source is, because they are so great.
Gameplay:
What can I say? It's Deadly as it's Steppy. I am glad you finally returned to the simple sidescrolling one player action after all that co-op and snyping and overhead view. The reload system is better this time, since I don't HAVE to press the reload button. I am glad you did what I said by having automatic reload. Thanks, but I'm not a really big fan of reloading actually, but still a big improvement over Power Bob. I wish there were more enemies, like for example having like 3 enemies shooting you at the same time and you must hide behind something till they stop shooting, then jump up and shoot them, just like in DS 1 and 2. I also wish there was more platforming in it. A few more pits and platforms would be nice, and also some more piles of poxes to hide behind from enemy fire. I know it's a demo so I hope you can put these requests in consideration.
Story:
I know. It's a demo. It didn't really explain story. That's why I chose not to rate the story, but please don't say it's a prequel. Prequels are so clitcheed.
Interface:
OK. I don't know why I gave 3 stars on interface. It's a demo. I like how you could shoot some of the objects and they would break. All I'm asking for is a bit more destructable objects, like when I shoot a burger, I would like to see it blowing up and see meat and ketchup and stuff splattered up the wall in the background. LOL! That would be cool.
Overall:
This demo was fantastic. I hope the full version has more different locations than just a dead office, and a bit more enemies around every corner, this will become a great sequel/prequel to the Deadly Steps series. Good job Granite! You are the best.

Part 2 of my comment of you review:
- Of course there are more locations than this office, I want to let you know that this whole office part is just the intro! =) This office is just some sort of sub-location.
Well, goodbye x)

Thanks for this review, but I want to let you know a few things:
- I made another game called "Velox" which is a platform shooter I never showed to you, there were like 9 different guns in with all a different reload animation, so I try to give this one too.
- The music sources are almost always from other games or movies. The sounds mostly from Warcraft 3.
- What's a prequel? xD
- I was thinking of that: blowing up hamburgers and stuff. But if you have noticed, you can shoot the bottles
