Cwazy Fantasy Shootew_ Review

Pros: Nicely created, power/speed upgrades, variety of enemies, sounds and music, boss fights, and lots (and lots and lots) of lives.
Cons: Too many bullets, moves too slow without any power ups, one hit deaths, long boss fights which makes it pretty repetitive.
Insanely difficult space shooter!
Graphics: The graphics and animation was good, but it didn't feel like some of it took long to make. The graphics were scaled to increase the size of the sprites/objects. Overall, it looks original and originality is a plus to me. Nothing much special to it and I noticed the GM built-in particles being used.
Sound: The sound effects were perfect, nothing too loud and not really weird or off place. The music was great and it kept the file size small still. (Some users use mp3 files, and that's not always a good idea, since it drastically increases the file size.) Good job on the selection of sounds and music.
Gameplay: The game play was really difficult. Bullets from the enemies fly everywhere coming from every direction trying to get you shot down. There were no destructable bullets that I found out, before I even reached the next level, so I assume it wasn't in it. At times the level will throw at you hordes of enemies, and you must avoid or else be destroyed. It became pretty difficult after dying once because then you lose all your power/speed upgrades. Especially on the boss fights, it never threw enough candy power ups at that time. There was a boss attack that shoots a red ring at you, and destroys your bullets towards the boss. That made it more difficult. I feel like the player more at a disadvantage in the game, which is not really fun but frustrating.
Story: There was a little storyboard on the game inside the info, but that's as far as it gets it seems. The story doesn't really drive the game play anywhere. It just gives you a reason to destroy things.
Interface: The game info explains everything, but without reading it. You'll most likely have to find out everything on your own. No help inside gameplay. Easy simple controls though.
Overall: The game was created well, but it does has it's flaws. It still stands as a decent game just like many others created like it. 3/5 stars.
