Shocker : The electrifying super hero Review

Pros: Simple to play yet hard to master, some nice retro gfx
Cons: Tutorial text was hard to understand. If coupled with a little character showing you the way it'd be much easier to understand.
Shocking (in a good way)
Shocker is a nice little puzzle game. I suck at it but thats besides the point.
gfx- Shocker has some nice retro looking graphics. Nothing too flash but they fit in together very well and something simple like
this doesn't require realistic graphics
sound- Didn't hear much. But what was there was good. Some background music wouldn't go astray.
gameplay- The real meat of this game. It is simple, yet hard at the same time. I didn't get far in but you had some nice
gameplay changes such as the turning detours. The game is fun (probably more so if you're actually good at it unlike me)
and original
story- A simple story for a short sharp game. It does its job perfectly. The tutorial text was hard to understand i.e flipping sides without being told how
BUT once you do it you think that it was much easier than the text made it sound. A little 'ghost' character to follow would've been perfect to demonstrate
but there were obviously some time constraints. Nice semi- environmental theme.
interface- Nice menu, responsive controls and a pause menu, great stuff.
A very nice game well worthy of its position in the comp it was in.

Thank you very much for your review MT . Glad that you liked it even thou you suck at it...HA !
Just one thing , the tutorial does explain how to flip , in fact it tells you exactly what to press from beginning to end .
