Sonic Zone Review

Pros: The sprite's animation were done pretty well. The music is nice and all sounds are pretty good. Overall the graphics are very good.

Cons: Enemy's hitbox is unfair. Die in a single hit even with rings. You can die when you run pass the goal sign at the end of the level. Sonic should be able to move faster and jump higher.

Decent, but does not feel like a sonic game

Well, this guy done a pretty good job on the animation, graphics, and sounds, but the game play is not so good. You die so easily and the boss fight doesn't feel like a boss battle from a sonic game. Actually the gameplay doesn't feel like a sonic game at all. Just a platformer wrap in sprites from a sonic game. At least the game is still playable and it still "looks" like a sonic game.

i wouldn't exactly even call this Decent. i don't mind the lack of a 360 engine but at least he could've got the basics right it isn't that hard really. even with game maker 4.2b
