Crazy Over Goo Review
By pick yer poison on

Pros: Unoriginal idea made original; nice graphics; good level design; nice music; has a level editor and unlockables
Cons: Short; sometimes frustrating; little story
Insane Over Goo
Graphics - Very nice! Everything looked good, although a little variation would have been welcome. The goo splash effect when the blob hit the ground or died was a nice touch.
Sound - No problems here. Nice music, and sound effects that did their jobs without being annoying.
Gameplay - Great, but not perfect. The levels were designed nicely, although a few parts seemed out of place in terms of difficulty (i.e. a hard level randomly popped up between several easy ones) and the game was pretty short. I myself got all the unlockables on the first run; a hard mode might have been a good addition. But I guess that's what the level editor is for :)
Story - Wait, there was a story? Oh yeah. In the last two levels.
Interface - Flawless. Minimalisti yet performed its function perfectly. No complaints here.
Overall - 4/5. I highly recommend you play this game, even if you don't think you'll like it!
