Xun 1,000000/Xtre Unique Neighborhood Review

Pros: Mindless instinctive blasting
Cons: little variation, dumb enemies
Disturbed
In this game you have to destroy the tanks that are coming straight towards you, with your canon.
During the game the view shivers and strange objects appear to block your view.
It's a small game, there's only one level and you have to try to survive as long as possible, killing all the enemies you can. Luckily NessXX added the option to just keep pressing the LMB if you want to keep shooting, instead of having to press the mouse button for each bullet.
The enemies are a lot slower than you are, but their size and number make it hard to avoid collisions.
Some points of attention are:
- Small enemies are hard to hit, not only because it's hard to aim right, but also because the bullets can skip their position. If your bullet has a speed of 20 and the enemy is only 5 pixels long, the bullet has a large chance of passing through the enemy.
- Some different behaviour in the enemies would be nice, for example the speed, the direction (move towards you, but with random deviation.
- Why do all the enemies appear to have canons, even though they never fire a single bullet?
- You added AZERTY compatibility, thanks for that, but it might be useful if this was remembered throughout the game. Now you have to type the cheat every time you start the level...
- You keep track of the missed bullet amount, you could use this amount for the score too, reducing the score with each missed bullet.
- I'm not sure if you did this already, but you could slow down the firing rate if the player keeps pressing the LMB for too long.
Keep up the good work, NessXX!
