Armageddon Days 2 Review
By Moonlit Werewolf on

Pros: VERY nice sprite and particle effects! The best graphics I have seen yet. Good storyline. Good music (because I made it). 2-Players. Looks like a professional Xbox arcade game.
Cons: A little hard. Story was a BIT awkward (with the year and everything).
They always say the 2nd is the best!
One of the most beautiful GM games I have played in years!
Graphics:
The best I have seen in GM. The explosions lit up my dark room, and blasted me out of my seat. The 9th planet is HUGE! The planets look 3D, and the particle effects match almost perfectly. With trails behind the bullets, and the way everything goes together, I can't say you could do any better (or me for that matter).
Sound:
Ok, so I can't say much for this, mainly because I am the one who made the music. I must say, though, that is it my best. BUT, you had to have gotten the sound effects elsewhere, and I think they sound great.
Gameplay:
Very hard game, if you ask me. But that's what makes it fun. It keeps the player trying and trying again... over and over. At least, that was the effect it had on me. It seemed like a cross between the old space shooter and your last game, Armageddon Days 1.
Story:
Change the year. That is all I can say about the story. 2012 is WAY too soon. The story was serious, and then when that popped up, I couldn't help but laugh. Sorry, but it's true!
Overall:
I am glad this turned out so well, and most of all, I am glad I could be a part of it. I am sure it will be a featured!

It's a reference to the Mayan doomsday that everyone keeps harping on. Apparently they said that December 21st 2012 is the day the world will end and they've been known to have appeared to predict previous things. It's more a joke than anything.

Yeah, but still the year seems weird.
