Flywrench Review

Pros: Different, puzzling, retro-ish, mysterious.
Cons: Can get a little hard, and the color changing was never fully explained.
Creativity to the fullest.
This game is like nothing you've ever played before. In a seemingly surreal, computer world, you guide a "flywrench" through many levels, changing color and moving at the same time to pass through barriers. The control system works great. While changing colors was never fully explained, you change color by using different actions with the arrow keys. This results in a definite unique and different experience, with some sort of strange story to keep you interested. The graphics and sound feel retro and noisy, which further illustrates the game's uniqueness. Overall, it earns its staff pick.
