Excellent Graphics and a Good Game Idea

I don't play many GM Games anymore, but I have to say that those are the best graphics I've ever seen in a 2D Game Maker game. Well done. The way it gets darker and the scenery reveals more of itself is just amazing. A great idea, that. ;D

The gameplay, although a little limited (2 modes) is pretty well designed and needs pretty much no explanation. The course is (or at least would appear to be) randomly generated, which helps the gameplay as well, but I think the countdown lasts longer than 3 seconds and the game could be helped if you gave an explanation behind the delays between acceleration/boosting with the down button (is it related to time or something else like the distance travelled?).

The sound effects work with the game and the music fits perfectly. The game's style doesn't need different music for in-game and out-of-game, and I can't find any faults with it so I gave Sound a 6. ;)
