Destructivator Review
By MT on 24 September 2008

Pros: pretty much everything

Cons: more lives would be nice, as it is pretty hard

Retro Randomness

graphics-
the graphics have a great retro style which i personally love. They all fit and work well, and are great for the theme/feel of the game.

sound-
The sound is great, like the several sound for the guns, and the music is great too, and even better is that it is original and made by you.

gameplay-
The gameplay is almost your typical platform shooter, with a nice retro feel and varied enemies and landscapes. The game is perhaps a little too hard, but the game has you coming back again and again, and i've got up to level 16 or something so far. (the game may have been updated since i played and this may have been addressed)

Story- The story has an evil guy wanting to take over the world etcetera etcetera and you, DESTRUCTIVATOR! must defeat his armies. Simple, but it does the job.

Interface-
the interface is fine, the HUD is nice and uncluttered, the controls work fine and are easy to use and there wasn't any lag as i could see.

Overall-
Here is a great casual retro platform shooter game which everyone should try, its great!
Great Job Pug. 6/6
