Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries Review

Pros: Great puzzles and finish, as well as some beautifully designed sprites. A game to keep you hooked.
Cons: A bit frustrating.
A 2D platformer that is not to be skipped.
Robbie Swifthand and the Orb of Mysteries is one of those games you rarely find on YoYo Games. It's the type that is created with enough space for almost everything. Puzzles, action, role-playing and more can be found on this great platformer.
On the story side, it's just about an escaped robber who is sucked into a vortex that leads him to an ancient temple. Upon his arrival, he meets a stranger who doesn't show his face. This stranger implores him to find a mystical object known as the "Orb of Mysteries". However, to find this orb, he needs to overcome multiple dangers and puzzles in order to reach his goal.
The game is well presented with a menu layout and others. Once you start the game, you are given a professional menu with multiple choices. As you start the game, you are given an overview of the story and can view a short cutscene. After that, your game begins. Puzzles, dangers and confusion come at you one at a time. But this is one you can be prepared for. The graphics are neat and tidy, with great character animation. The overall look is good. The sound is good, too. The gameplay is a standout factor of the game. Easy controls that are not so hard to master give you a great feel of the game.
scream681's platformer can sure go a long way. If you want to avoid it, do so at your own risk because this one hooks you.
