Cons: Sometimes the buttons doesn't respond. Unhelpful savesystem, Few different clothestyles to choose from.
Chara-Maker
Not much a game but this is more of a tool. It can do some simple character design, but the characters are not very useful. They all look way too similar and are hard to distinguish from animated babies. As a first version this tool is pretty much spot on, but what I really miss is categories of torso patterns, facial hair, hats, shades, exteriors such as cigarette or pipe, umbrella etc. You get what I'm talking about. Some more brighter colored clothes would also make a great addon. Also what would make this tool better is if you could make the pointer more acurate, maybe add a soft click sound when your mouse enters a button, a sound when it leaves and another when clicking the button, That way persons who have hard to see the buttons hears when to click and not to click. Make these sounds different.
You should really concider add a real Windows Dialog to save the image with, since the way you save now you don't give much help to new users with limited experience of how to save files. If you don't give the image the right extension or a valid place to put it then all you get in return is a beep and nothing else. Not very helpful to say the least. It's allmost easier to press PrintScreen and copy the picture to Paint and select it there to save it since it has the working save routine. This irritating limitation drags down the overall points from 5 to 2. But a part from that, the tool is pretty wall constructed.

The problem you had with saving shouldn't have occurred. There is no need to add an extension. It's saved as .PNG automatically. You just input the name you wish for the file to be named without the extension.
