Looks promising!
While this game is currently incomplete, it contains some great features common to the truly great RTS games. First, it has the essential minimap with an attractive user-interface. Secondly, it hints at the randomness found in commercial RTS's. Although the locations of the resources do not change, the types of resources do change. Thirdly, the ability to "garrison" villagers in resource locations in an inventive way to avoid the problem of carrying resources to and from locations. Fourthly, multiple villagers can be built at once at the town center. Finally, the graphics work well with each other and the overall interface theme.
To improve this impressive work in process, I would advise adding a few modifications. Try to make sure the fog of war closely follows the villagers so we can see where they are going. Next, make a feature so garrisoning villagers in resource locations visibly adds resources to our total (Maybe show a visible +5 sign above the location every so often?). Naturally, an AI player should be added. The most challenging part of any game is to eliminate as many "bugs" as possible. This can be difficult to do since players frequently try to do things on our games that we never intended for them to do and thus trigger unanticipated glitches.
Overall, this is a very good start for such an ambitious undertaking. The features already in the game provide a solid foundation for future work.
Good work!
