Pros: Good concept, fun to play, good replay value, cool music
Cons: Sounds got irritating after a while, only one civilization is really any good.
SoulRed Review of: Territory Defender V.8
I saw this game and I thought, hmm, another tower defense game. It is a tower defense game, but it's designed pretty well. Choose one of four structures to defend with a cannon attached to the top. Aim carefully to kill the stream of people that are attacking.
It looks kind of humorous to see the people walk up, because they look like normal people...you look at them, and it looks like a bunch of men just got up that morning and said, "I'm going to run up to and destroy every structure I can find"
Other than that, the game was entertaining. I found myself playing multiple times, and the upgrades only added to it. Graphics were good; they weren't brilliant but they served their purpose. Sounds, were a little irritating with all the huge gunshot-explosion stuff going on every second. Interface....simple, yet effective. One final gripe is the fact that when you lost, you were shown a highscore table, then asked to submit your score online (which didn't work...) and then you're kicked back to the title screen. A "retry" option would have been nice here.
Overall, good job with this game.
