Territory Defender V.9 Review

Pros: Online highscore.
Cons: "found" graphics, still gameplay is still "eh" *Read review*
UPDATED... kinda
This is your regular turret kind of game where you have to shoot the enemys as fast as you can before they get to your castle. Not real new idea but maybe it could be good if it found it's niche, you know, the thing that makes it different. Like maybe your enemys actually try to dodge your fire, or maybe you have really cool weapons. IDK think of something.
Graphics:
were a little sketchy, I offer this advice to anyone so please
Do your own sprites NO MATTER HOW BAD THEY ARE, as long as they all look like each other. they won't end up looking like a guy with leather jacket and a speed-o (I don't mean gay I meant clashing). that would make this game at least 50% better (maybe 100%), it just needs something not off Google.
UPDATE:
another thing, Make the Heads up Display prettier, Like for one thing make the Wave time thing some kind of bar like the HP, not some random number that you can barely see. If you don't know how (which I hope you do because you did the HP one) then just ask about it in the form.
The guys HP number, isn't working for me to tell you the truth. I can't even see it anyway when their all squished together, maybe you could change to a little bar or something.
Gameplay:
was uneven, depending on the race or civilization you pick depends on how high your turret is from the ground and thats it. Your turrent always shoots the same speed too so if you pick one that's close to the ground then you have the disadvantige of not being able to hit enemys from far away. And there aren't any upgrades from what I could tell or anything so it was just, shot, shot shot, shot, shot, shot, health up, and it just kinda didn't have that niche.
there is an online high score but like all online high scores their almost impossible to even make it so it's pretty much worth not trying. but I find it odd that he can figure out how to program an online highscore and can't make good enemy AI.
anyway I would say, you need something diffrent something that makes it worth playing compared to the hundreds of other territory defenders.
UPDATE: Not much different except the attack / defense upgrades which helped the gameplay... a little. the problem is when you got it, it would take a lot of points and help out a little. Try rewarding the player more by making it look different or more powerful in ways that you can really tell. Remember the player needs a good pat on the back to keep him interested. Which you need a lot of.
and I still can't shoot as far with, say, the romans as the taller ones, which annoys me.
