Pleasing twist on an old classic

Some might say I was generous with this review, until you play the game. If you like space invaders, then you'll like this version.

Let's check my scoring:

Graphics: 3 stars is a fair score, as they are a bit clunkier than the original version, but then again, it's not supposed to be an accurate replica, is it? 3 stars is still about right, however.

Sound: This score is solely a matter of opinion. I don't really like that kind of music, though there are a lot of people who would, and might rate it something a bit more radical, like a 5 or something.

Gameplay: As stated in the pros section, it's retro, as it should be. 5 stars is a worthy score, although that elusive 6th star is quite a distance away. some extra features would help, just to make it more modern.

Story: Well, there is no story. So that does'nt affect the final score, as far as im concerned. Just as a question, how could you actually add a story to this style of game?

Interface: The menu is fine, just a bit dodgy at times. What stops it from getting a better score is that on the info section, the text is too hard to see.

Overall: 4 stars is the right score for this game, as it just fits in neatly with the rest of the scores. Like I say, extr features like health packs would do the game much justice.
