Pros: Nice production effort, glitchless

Cons: No direction or objective given

Crux Review

This is a pretty solid game without any glaring flaws, but there still things that could be done to improve it.

In terms of graphics and sounds, there's not really anything to complain about. It all looks nice. My only problem would be that there's no clear theme in the art direction. You have primitive colored falling blocks tetris-styled alongside a grass ground, water, and stormy sky, which does look fine, just does not quite fit together.

Didn't have a story, didn't need one. End of story.

The gameplay was okay, but could have been much better. You never gave us any controls or directive; we're sort of left guessing as to what our goal is supposed to be. It wasn't too hard to figure out after a little bit, but it still ought to give some sort of direction. The actual play is fine; the concept is not particularly exciting, but you could spice it up with some powerups or special falling blocks or something.

The interface could use a lot more work. Rather than displaying name and score next to the character, it would look better to have a heading at the top of the screen with that information. A main menu and/or title screen would also help a lot in making this feel professional.

Again, all-in-all it doesn't have any GLARING flaws, but I do think if you consider the changes I've suggested you'll have a much better game on your hands.

On a side note: to increase popularity, try making forum topics for your game on various sites, and maybe make a banner for you game and put it in your forum signatures or something.
