High Resolution Timer by Yourself Moderator

This extension allows you to measure time much more accurately than Game Maker can on its own. Normally, Game Maker can only measure times accurate to about 16 ms, but with this extension you can measure times accurate to smaller than one µs (microsecond; there are 1000000 microseconds in one second). Read the included documentation for more information.

GRegex Regular Expressions Exten... by Yourself Moderator

This extension allows you to use powerful regular expressions in your game. But, what are regular expressions? A regular expression allows you to search a string for all sorts of different patterns in a string with minimal effort. Where Game Maker restricts you to searching for specific strings (like "dog") a regular expression would allow you to search for almost anything you can imagine. It can be used to verify that user input is valid or to help parse your very own scripting language.
