Description: I like music...I listen to Metallica, 38th Parallel, Disturbed, Nickelback, Metallica, Megadeth, The Showdown, Slipknot, Underoath, Slayer, Metallica, Boston, Linkin Park, Styx, Van Halen, Metalllica, Guns and Roses, Rush, Muse, Iron Maiden, Kansas, Metallica, Three Days Grace, Ozzy Osbourne, Poison, Wolfmother, Metallica, Chris Daughtry, Judas Priest, 3 Doors Down, Deathklok, and Metallica. Did I mention Metallica? Death Magnetic rocks -- their best album ever, even with all the previously published singles on it. But I think classic albums like Kill 'Em All, Master of Puppets, St. Anger, and Ride the Lightning top it (yes, i actually liked st. anger, sucker). 38th Parallel (State of Mind, Horizon) is also good -- they're a Christian rop (rock/rap) band, and i know someone who knows someone whose cousin was the drummer. Cool, huh? The Showdown is okay -- they are a religious band, but they scream too much. They did do a very good metal remake of Carry On My Wayward Son, though. Same with Underoath (sans Carry On remake). Chris Daughtry is just about the only Pop i like...he's pretty close to rock. Disturbed (ratal=rap/metal) is amazing (Land of Confusion, Indestructible, Ten Thousand Fists), but I haven't listened to them very much since I got into Metallica (rules). I like Nickelback's lighter songs -- Savin' Me and Far Away instead of Side of a Bullet and Fight For All the Wrong Reasons, for instance. Linkin Park (Hands Held High, In the End), Slipknot (Duality, All Hope is Gone) and Three Days Grace (Animal I Have Become, Pain) are very emo but they are also very good -- unlike other emo/punk bands I could mention (cough cough Green Day Sex Pistols cough). Metallica is my favorite band, though -- they're the only band to ever have 5 albums be #1 on Billboard, and for that, I take my hat off to them. (At least, I would if I wore a hat -- my hair is spiky, and hats make it flat.) I sing and play drum set (and occasionaly keyboard or guitar) in a Metallica tribute band called "The Unforgiven", but we're starting to write our own songs, and will eventually reform as a Christian Thrash Metal band called "Pillar of Fire" if that name isn't already taken. I think it's really annoying how everyone thinks Metallica is screamo -- they obviously haven't heard any of their songs. It's also annoying how people hate St. Anger, their 2nd best album and 1st best song. Even more annoying than the second one but less than the first one is that most people who "listen" to Metallica only have 2 songs (One and Enter Sandman) because of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Metal is my favorite, but I also like softer stuff like 3 Doors Down (Citizen Soldier, Not My Time), Rush (Tom Sawyer, Spirit of Radio) and Styx (Renegade, Blue Collar Man). I only like a few songs each from Iron Maiden (The Number of the Beast, Run To the Hills), Slayer (Reign in Blood), Megadeth (Reckoning Day, Symphony of Destruction), Deathklok (Thunder Horse), Wolfmother (Tales, Colossal), Muse (Assassin) and those guys. I also like a little bit of classic rock, like Van Halen (Jump, Right Now) and Guns and Roses (Sweet Child of Mine, November Rain), but the Beatles are tied for 2nd worst band ever (tied with Dragonforce, top worst = Green Day). I also enjoy other things -- I'm not a total music freak. I play Dungeons and Dragons (liking 3E more than 4E), watch SNL (JAM THE VOTE) and Monk, and make games (duh), read books (Cirque du Freak, the Demonata), and watch movies (especially Horror -- Poe and King all the way!) I also do theater a lot -- I was in local productions of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and Peter Pan. But music rules -- I plan to make several games based on Metallica's very best songs (The Unforgiven = RPG, Sanitarium = Puzzle Platformer, Ride the Lightning = Shooter) because they just rule so much. ROCK ON METALLICA!!!!! By the way, anybody who wants to help with Sanitarium can PM me with ideas for Lab 14-style puzzles and get in the credits. Anyway (wow, can i ramble), I am currently working on 4 different games, soon to be 5: Escape (a running game), Hall of Flames (a difficult game), Sanitarium (like lab 14), and Ride the Lightning (a shooter), and will be working on The Unforgiven 1, 2, and 3 after I get at least 2 of those done. I am pretty busy.....needing help coding/DNDing, finding sound effects, and sprite drawing.....but I have no problem securing music, I just use Metallica songs (Escape for Escape, Sanitarium for Sanitarium, Ride the Lightning for Ride the Lightning, and The Unforgiven 1, 2, and 3 for The Unforgiven 1, 2, and 3, respectively, you can probably sense the pattern, if you can't you must be really dumb, though I haven't found a good song for Hall of Flames [I'm thinking of Jump in the Fire, Fuel, or Fight Fire With Fire]). R.I.P. Cliff Burton, the best bassist ever born. \m/ (-_-) \m/
