doesn't go lower than (about 20) for me. --as I said, this isn't an extreme example, and I also know that this is a demo, in which doing the following would be quite pointless, but if you make future games, the ability to toggle some effects would be a way that those with old PC's might be able to play the game, like how I want to play Crysis, but my PC would basically explode if it tried... (for sceptics, it was an exaggeration, I know it wont explode...)

isn't it much more to be proud of if a game with good graphics can run on an outdated computer? I have placed hundreds of detailed trees, and the frame rate went down to 10. I fiddled around with some techniques, and it went back to about 80 (using d3d). This might look fantastic, but it would be nice if some of the better looking games can run on a mere mortal's computer. No offence meant, I don't suppose U3D can be edited a lot.
