have you or your friend host a game then the other person connects to the ip of the person (the host can click on the leaf symbol in the waiting room to figure out his ip)

it should save by itself after u buy him... did u try downloading the game? this game is designed to play offline u can do online battles by going to 2-player then online. one person has to host a game while another connects to him/her by ip address. v6 might have a lobby like system so connecting will be a lot easier.

@zeshiba: go to the shop in-game and you can unlock the chars (it's probably in the other section) V6 is not going to be for a while ppl! plz be patient!
