said 11 days agoEach instance draws its own health. You only need 1 type of object... so:
obj_enemy
draw event
draw_rectangle(x-5,y-16,x-5+obj_health,y-12)
and then you would wont to draw its own sprite because the draw function makes it so you cant see the sprite of the object that your drawing with.dose that answer your question ?

said 22 days agoYes. Use the function "draw_rectangle" :
make a variable "obj_health" set it to 100. draw a rectangle (on the draw event) that draw's
x1=x-5
y1=y-16
x2=x-5+obj_health
y2=y-12:) tell me if that works !

gustavqpihlgren, to shoot just make is so that the shooting object creates a bullet object at a relitive position x-0 y-0. to make an object jump you need to set the gravity of the jumping object to: direction: -90 amount: 1 to make an object walk you make it so when the walking object collides with the "floor" its verticle speed is set to 0. then make it so when you press left/right the horizontal speed is set to -5/5 (or how fast you want it to go). At least this is what i do.
