said 20 days agoHeh, well my latest upload is a five minute slap up, one level platform game. It's actually part of an interactive fiction writing, and the platformer is just part of it, so you'll find it's not all that good. I just needed something for the fiction writing game.

said 24 days agoThanks for the complements! Yeah, with Drifts it was already kind of complicated from a programming standpoint, and the more complicated it got, the more complicated it'd have to be to finish it, it seemed.
Hmmm, I think my problem is that the level content was mostly programming based - while with a game like mario, it's the same programming, and it's the level design that grants content. Maybe that's my problem? I program too much?

Well I can't even get the endcode in the latest version. It is now a challenge. :)Btw you could place enemies at the top and the bottom on some levels that travel left and right. Just a thought. Also, since I didn't say it before, I like how you rounded the game screen corners. Nice touch. Do you place opaque black sprites in the corners?
