I have a way to stop downraters: Make good games! If the game is good, they won't rate it 1 star, they'd probably rate it like 6 or something. In most cases, the rating you get is the rating you deserve. And, even if it's as good as games made without Game Maker and you have 1 star, so what?

Oh my god. Please stop making 3d games. Anyone can do so much better than you can. You just made the gun blue, the cacademons "fireballads" and didn't even change the F1 screen. Look at the related games. They know how to make good 3D games that are better than Doom. And they're called "comments," not "compliments." If you want to have good feedback, then make good games.
