sorry, I havn't read your message in my guestbook till today =P
to make a weapon "charge", yo need a "powerbar" object (the green/red circle, in Battle Power). Then, in "key pressed" event make this object move to the right with certain speed. in "key release" event, the weapon is created with speed similar to the "powerbar" X position, or something like this.
then the "powerbar" object "jumps" to the starting position, and gets speed 0
That's all. maybe you have already solved it XD

Nice original graphics. I used player 1....He moves well in 8 directions...but when I pressed 1, 2, 3...nothing happened.

Finally made it to the goal at end of first level. I had to take a short cut to a lower level...because the upper level seemed impossible.

This is a good game. It might be a little too hard on the easy level. Maybe you could gve players 3 lives instead of 1.
