Well, it's more galaxian than galaga, but it's more like space invaders than either of those -- with the main element being that the entire formation decends. I was hoping the joystick would work. Players progress in the game is completely determined by powerups. Such as, the last two levels I just competed (5300pts) I passed by fortunately killing a single enemy before they passed off the screen. Having the shield tho would have made it too simple.

Hey, if the game's too small for you hit F4. Game play is solid, but the interface annoyed me. I usually die for for I could activate the game window (by clicking or alt-tabbing). It seems to be a short game, and thus, I do not want to be prompted by a new window asking my name every 20 seconds. Completely inconsistant that you must use keyboard, not mouse, on the main menu, but you must use mouse, not keyboard, on the game-over/high-score menus.

This is the best of the last 30 yoyo games I've played. Still, I estimate I only played 30 levels. I'm happy the joystick is implemented! I hate that it's titled "3D" when the essence is 2D, but I won't hold that against it. 3/5
