Okay, guess I'll have to find someone else to try it with. I might have to learn to use a DLL or something because Game Maker's mplay isn't the best. Meanwhile I'll try to program a decent CPU opponent to fight against. By the way, did anyone try to connect against someone else online? Did it work?

By the way, this game DOES work on local connections. So if you have two different computers on the same network, you can easily connect them by using the host's INTERNAL IP address, as found by mplay_address() My external IP is 75.153.42.220 and I will have my game on for the next 20 minutes in case anyone wants to join. Well... good luck! P.S. I'm starting to learn a Game Maker extension called Ultimate3D. With it, I should be able to create much better graphics without as much slowdown!

Guys, just remember: I'm still not sure if the online system works or not. If your computer is behind a router, you might have to configure it for port forwarding (search Google). It might be easier to test first with a friend that you know in real life and can call. If you can't get this game to work, try downloading the official multi-player tutorial and see if the example game "pong3" works. Maybe it's a problem with Game Maker. By telling me your results, you can help me fix the problem.
