Elimination? your completely scrapping the reflections or just making them optional?

As I mentioned previously, this build of the game is highly unoptimized. The newest version that I hope to get up today runs faster with the optimization and the elimination of the reflection. Also, if the users still experiences low fps, he will be able to enable a frame skip in the final version of the game.

My lowest was 26 going into the large room. Otherwise 35 - 45 average.
Theese spikes are a bad thing as it effects gameplay. You should either have the room speed low, or make the game and drawing seperate somehow.
The flickering lights are a nice touch. But reflections, your just drawing all the same models but upside down right? With many models it might be faster to make the main model and it's reflection just one model. Then draw the floor last with d3d_set_hidden() on. It's just an idea.
