    Well, by using the U3D DLL. It takes over GM's rendering system for a more professional one.

    There are so many particles that the center is just pure white, it's totally filled up xD

    And runs even better on my new graphic card :D (GTX 275)

    If it lags you have a bad PC. :p Only 7% CPU used - thats amazing! How did you get it so low?

    doesn't go lower than (about 20) for me.
    --as I said, this isn't an extreme example, and I also know that this is a demo, in which doing the following would be quite pointless, but if you make future games, the ability to toggle some effects would be a way that those with old PC's might be able to play the game, like how I want to play Crysis, but my PC would basically explode if it tried... (for sceptics, it was an exaggeration, I know it wont explode...)
