well i giv u heaps of credit for trying to make it from scratch but examples are really much easyer and if u use them ur more on track with what you want to do with ur game so try an fps example and edit it, change it, and make it beter. by doing this u get a beter understanding of how it all works by looking at the codes and objects etc . so good luck in the future :)
