Well, the game itself horrible but actually pretty good for a first game.
When you hit a ghost, instead of exiting the game have it restart the game. Try adding more levels and making it so when you let go of an arrow key, the burger stops moving.

Just keep working at Game Maker and you'll get better, even if it's just making simple maze games. Try looking at some tutorials on yoyo, they're very helpfull for first timers.
