Nice start. I like the custom anime graphics. Here are some suggestions as far as your engine:

-Every time the player lands on a platform, you can see him stop before slowly landing on the platform.
-When you press against an object in mid-air, you slowly descend instead of falling with gravity.
-It's sometimes hard to jump because you never know when you're falling down the down-curve of a leaf instead of smoothly walking along it.
-Also, the invisible wall to the left is too low.
