Where are the Photon Torpedo's? the Phasers? the Disruptors? :P
if your going to make a startrek game you should put those in.
i would say phasers as unlimited fire, being the weakest.
photon torpedo's for a limited range explosion taking evrything with it in the explosion.
and Disruptors for a screen sweep, killing evrything on the screen exept you.
also when your dead, you should make it like a little cut scene.
just make a few escape pod's leave the ship b4 it explodes or something.

Decent to pause you could set the game room to persistent and go to a diffent room when paused. Make sure though to reset the room when starting a new game.
