Well, I can't rate this since I'm making a game for the contest, but I will post some comments. I really like the cutesy theme, it's refreshingly different. The music is nice too, fits the theme well. But on the flip side, there is almost no indication that you are taking damage which makes taking damage very, "meh". Also, some aesthetics where favored over practicality, like platforms blending into the background. Still, if I lose to this game, I would not feel any shame.

1st programmer dont listen to insults the game is quite good it need to make some help in it about controls and I dont know if the other creature is hited when it is in sight of the attack but as a first game to you is good game :D Hope u continue well in programing and if u wanna me to help just ask me :)
