    Hmm, it might be my screen then. I use a big resolution since I want to make sure I don't miss things when I make rooms. Also, I've played Raiden X as well as Raiden Trad, and I'm more used to keeping the medals. I actually can have losing medals, but when I got shot by a boss just after firing my weapons... and the boss died from these bullets... I got pretty annoyed.
    But Raiden is actually pretty very hardcore, since it's about the only shooter I've played without a shield power-up. ^_^

    YAL: I'm fairly sure the newest version doesn't change screen res. I've certainly never encountered that problem in my many test runs, though it could just be different computer settings.
    And the medals are just there for the hardcore - Thought it would be a nice incentive to go back and 1life each level!!

    But - I forgot to mention - it is actually a good game with the right difficulty (I think the enemy bullets should be a little less fast though) and it has the SNESy feel.

    Though, I don't think it's nice to resize screens like that. I had to resize all my open windows back after playing it. -_-

    But anyway, a good game that gets a 4.

    Losing all medals when dying is a tad annoying.
    Also, I think the soundtrack would sound a little bit better if it wasn't all piano.
