there is a better way to create the bullet:

{instance_create(x+choose(1,2,3,4,-4,-3,-2,-1),y+choose(1,2,3,4,-4,-3,-2,-1),bullet)}

later,in the step event of the bullet:
(it is invisible,do not forget that)

{if (distance_to_point(turret.x,turret.y)>25) visible=1}

Error:

i got my gun to lv 21...
then it popped up with starting upgrad screen and i upgraded to 25 but then i could not shoot.
i know 21 is maximum but this is a bad glitch.
