I liked how it all worked out, but I didn't think there was much of a game... Maybe you could make it so you select guys when you left click on them, and maybe add a background or something, or even a place you can scroll to by putting the mouse at the edge of the screen. I'm making a similar game (except it's turn based) called conqueror and I'd be happy to give you some of the code I'm using for the regular engine. I'll reserve my rating for later if you add updates.
