if you get past the invaders thay dont respawn at the top
then you are forever shooting at nothing!!!!!!!!!

This needs a few more features to make it authentic. I have a file of original space invaders sounds that would help.
The invaders shouldn't reverse direction until one invader hits the end of the screen. This version, they move a set distance before reversing.
A hit invader should disappear with a pop, not just vanish.
