I'm not using the built-in bounce script for the ball, the ball simply goes toward the mouse cursor when it bounce against the paddle.

This was fun. I would suggest changing the player's paddle colour to green to match the generator. Also, change the colour of the ball to match the player who last hit it so that it becomes obvious who will receive the buffs the ball hits, and whose troops are at risk from the ball.
Also, the physics of how the ball bounces off the paddle was unusual for a pong game. It might be best to write your own bounce script instead of using the built-in one (if that is what you used)
