The music is way too quiet, and those stupid bats and boulders make me wanna go on a killing spree, lol. Good game though, a homage to the classics.

The bats have invisible triggers set at strategic points, so they will always appear in the exact spots. Their arrival is always signaled by a distinct sound as well, so you have a fair warning.
I would agree that the level gets kinda cheap later on, where it has several portions of obstacles with less than stellar design - like the elevators and the minecarts (minecarts being cheap AND slightly buggy).
I guess nobody made it to the top, as the end of the level is bugged: )

Good & hard. I thought the bat was cheap at first, but it seems a fixed pattern so it's possible to figure out a solution to it.

Not bad! Good graphics, it kind of reminds me of "Rick Dangerous". You might want to speed up the player's movement a little to help pick up the pace.
